We have known about this for a long time…
A brown water damaged ceiling tile, a wet stain under a ductless AC, a musty smell that fills an entire room; we have all seen or experienced these things at one point or another and most people don’t give them much thought, but these things should not be taken lightly. Humans have known the dangers of mold since biblical times! Leviticus 14:33-16:34 says “I have seen something that looks like a defiling mold in my house. The priest is to order the house to be emptied before he goes in to examine the mold, so that nothing in the house will be pronounced unclean. He must have all the inside walls of the house scraped and the material that is scraped off dumped into an unclean place outside the town. Then they are to take other stones to replace these and take new clay and plaster the house.” 2000 years ago people made an effort build their homes with stone and remediated their homes when they became moldy. In modern times, we build out homes cheaply of wood, paper and fiber insulation. Then we proceed to hide PIPES FILLED WITH WATER in the walls. Hello?!?! Cut a few corners, a few leaky pipes later and we have a real problem.
Even if you are not one of the unlucky 1 in 4 people that can develop CIRS, I have an even more alarming reason why you should care. 80% of all cancer has been proven to be environmentally caused.

EVE homes are the long overdue progression of housing innovation. Recent studies have shown we spend 90 percent of our time indoors. Why wouldn’t you want your living space to be 100 percent aligned with your health. Im sure a building contractors are not going to be happy with me as I try to raise the bar on cheap construction, but I’m ok with that. Health and people come should always come first. An environmentally clean home can reduce the risk of cancer, asthma, dementia, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s disease. Build better homes, build better lives, build a better world.
I love you. bye.
